Another Lawsuit against Bishop Eddie Long

The flood gates are open! LOL. A third male, Jamal Parris, 23, has filed a claim against Bishop Eddie Long that allege he coerced him into sexual acts and more while he was a member of New Birth. You can read more about it here!

You can read the official lawsuits from scribed for Anthony Flagg and Maurice Robinson!

I’m wondering what Sunday service will be like after all this is hitting the news. LOL
I’m sure there will be those DIE HARD Bishop Eddie Long supporters who will vilify the young men for coming out with these “Lies”. Then you will have those who have already had questions about Eddie Long, leave his church in droves!
Here is the “lovely” photo of Bishop Eddie Long and Rev. Bernice King (DYKE) who were marching against Same Sex Marriage back in 2004 on MLK, Jr Day in front of the MLK Center. SHAME!!!

September 11th

I can’t believe it’s been 9 years! I was living in the NYC area when it happened and saw the buildings fall. It was surreal!

Rest in Peace to those who perished on that day and all the troops who died (unnecessarily) after the attacks. Do you know more troops died fighting a Faux war than those who died on 9-11? Sad!

"We are the World" – 25 Years ago and Today

Well if you don’t know, the current crop of “stars” banded together to re-record the classic “We are the World” done 25 years ago. It premiered during the Winter Olympic Opening Ceremony.

Personally, I thought the newest version sucked. The best parts were Jennifer Hudson, Celine, Pink and Barbara Streisand. The Michael/Janet part was cute but you could hardly hear her. The rest was awful and the rap part was totally not needed.
There are certain songs you just don’t touch and this is one of them.
I think this was just a spring board for artists who are total unknowns and for more established artists whose career is on the decline.
I’ve posted both the original and new version. I want to hear your thoughts on the new one!
The original
The new one!

Haiti needs us. How you can help!

I just went on CNN and MSNBC and have information on how to help our fellow brothers and sisters in Haiti.

There are multiple ways we can help:
Text “yele” to 501501 to donate $5 for Haitian Relief. (This is Wyclef Jean’s Yele Foundation).
Text “haiti” to 90999 to donate $10 (This is part of the American Red Cross)
President Clinton and U.S. Special Envoy to Haiti – text “haiti” to 20222 or go to the website!
UNICEF – They are seeking donations for children in haiti! Click here or call 1-800-4UNICEF
Also check local churches in your area where can donate water, food, clothing or cash.
Let us do all we can to help our fellow brother and sisters in Haiti.
God be with all of them during this difficult time!
