Today I spotlight Coretta Scott King. She is the widow of the great Dr. Martin Luther King. She in her own right became a civil rights icon not only for African Americans but also for Women, Gays and more. Most of us truly lived the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King thru her live and her activism.

Black History Month Spotlight – Zora Neale Hurston

Zora Neale Hurston was an established Author, Writer who was instrumental in documenting the life of African American’s in the early 20th century especially during the Harlem Renaissance. Her most famous work is the novel – “Their Eyes are Watching God”.
