Pretty Ricky’s Sexy Spec – "Tipsy"

I don’t really follow too much of today’s R&B because most of it is a bunch of mediorce singers/dancers entertaining us with less than original beats.

Well there is a group called Pretty Ricky (which is suspect already) and one of its members dancing and challenging Ms. Bow Wow, Ms. Omarion, Mr. Chris Brown, amongst others, to a “grind off”. OKKK. LOL ….I don’t know too many hetero men who would want to do a “grind” dance off with other men but be it as it may!!!

Check out this video and tell me what you think! Check him twirling at 1:02.

All I can say is DL Power Twink Bottom. I bet he riding some dick on the realness!

Tina Turner and Patti LaBelle

This is some funny shit here. It’s an animation cartoon of two Legendary Divas, Miss Patti and Miss Tina, talking about anything and everybody! LOL.

Enjoy!

Klymaxx – The Men All Pause

It’s Friday and its time for an old school jam!

This is a classic jam from the all female funk group – Klymaxx. They had several hits in the mid to late 80’s but this song truly stands out mainly because of Bernadette Cooper’s rap. That chick was fierce and no one has been able to touch her sassy lyrics and flow!

TV Classics – Coffee Talk with Linda Richman

Saturday Night Live is a staple for sketch comedy dating back to the late 70s. I think it reach its peak in the 1st several years and in the 90’s. One of my favorite skits from SNL during the 90’s was Coffee Talk with Linda Richman. Mike Myers played the hell out of this woman! For all my New Yorkers, I’m sure you have met some “Linda Richman’s” .

Enjoy this classic “Coffee Talk” with Madonna and Roseanne Barr with a special surprise guest apperance from Barbara Streisand.

First Latina Supreme Court Justice

President Obama will nominate Sonia Sotomayor, a federal appeals court judge in New York, as the first Hispanic to sit on the Supreme Court. With this selection, President Obama has found somebody whose unlikely ascent to power is similar to his own life story. Like Obama, Sotomayor represents the rise of the meritocracy. Sotomayor grew up not far from Yankee Stadium in a Bronx Housing project. The daughter of Puerto Rican parents, Sotomayor lost her father at 9 and was largely raised by her nurse mother.

Memorial for our Veterans

I know this holiday is mainly viewed as a rest holiday, BBQ’s, parties and the unofficial kick off to the summer season! But this is an important holiday to recognize the contributions of the men and women who lost their lives in service to our country.

Let’s take a moment to remember them and pray for their loved ones!

African-American Firsts!

Over the past week, we had two major accomplishments for the African American community!

Ursula Burns has become the 1st African American Woman to be CEO of a Fortune 500 company. As of July 1st she will be the CEO of Xerox. You can read more about her here!

Gen. Charles F. Bolden has become the 1st African American to lead a space program. President Obama hand picked Gen. Bolden and he will be the leader of NASA. You can read more about him here! He is also a good man because he is my frat brother! 🙂

Teddy Pendergrass – Close the Door

It’s Friday and time for the another classic gem from the world of music.

This week we go back to the late 70’s and highlight one of the most recognizable male vocalists of the decade – Teddy Pendergrass. Popular not only for his deep soulful voice but also his tall, lean muscular body which he didn’t mind showing during concerts!

During the mid 70’s to early 80’s he had massive hits that have stood the test of time include “Love TKO”, “Turn Off the Lights”, “Come Go with Me” and more.

Below is the classic song – “Close the Door”. I am sure many of us were born to either a song by Barry White or Teddy Pendergrass. LOL

Enjoy!
